Beach Volleyball

I began playing volleyball aged 10 and beach volleyball in 1997. Since then I have played beach on the NZ Pro Tour, other tournaments in NZ, and internationally in Vanuatu and now on the Volleyball England Beach Tour. My best results include 2nd at a southern zones tournament playing indoor volleyball for Nelson and 9th on the NZ National Beach Volleyball Tour, partnered with Campbell Banks.

In 1998 I gained a New Zealand Level 1 coaching certificate in Volleyball. I coached indoor volleyball at varying levels before moving my focus onto beach volleyball.

In 2006/07 I coached/managed 2 girls on the NZ pro tour and other tournaments around NZ. I found them a sponsor to pay all their travel costs and other expenses. They improved that summer from not winning a game the summer before to finishing as the 13th ranked women's team in the country. I still continue to manage/coach one of them.

I have assisted in running training camps for the South Islands under 21 players to help identify players for the NZ training squads. I also wrote a training program for another NZ girl’s team who were preparing for the world under 19 champs without a coach.

I am currently head coach of the London Beach Volleyball Club juniors program and have coached at the Yellow Wave Beach Centre in Brighton, England.

Soccer

Richmond city Soccer 2005-2006 (semi pro). In 2006 won the league and then won 2 rounds of playoff games to gain promotion into the mainland league in NZ. Now play competitively for Westside Football club in London.

Touch rugby

Played many years in men's 1^st division in Nelson, NZ and now play competitively in London.

MANAGEMENT

I have much experience in management of facilities, operations, and events around the world. I have extraordinary organisational and communication skills - verbal and written and excellent problem solving/analytical skills. Administration and organization are my strengths. I have completed a Certificate in Introduction to Business Studies. I also have training and education in Health & Safety, training in the food service industry and a current First Aid certificate. I have experience hiring, training and managing staff and volunteers. I have spent 3 years working as a builder and in property management. My skill base is very wide and I can do almost anything required to a high level of competency.
